LEED Certification
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System was developed by the United States Green Building Council to help promote sustainable design and provide a uniform rating system for projects to follow. Currently, professionals from all walks; architects, construction managers, engineers, and real estate implement LEED to facilitate their sustainable design initiatives. The system itself was developed through an open consensus based process led by a LEED committee and is considered by many to be the gold standard in sustainable design.
