Little Rock Southwest Magnet High School
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Southwest Little Rock High School is a state-of-the-art high school campus covering over 400,000 square feet of academic and athletic spaces. The school houses over 60 standard classrooms, shared collaboration spaces, virtual classroom technology, a two story media center, as well as fully equipped biology, chemistry, physics, physical science and simulation labs. They incorporated visual and performing arts classes featuring a 1,200 seat auditorium. The school’s athletic facilities include an arena size gymnasium, football and soccer fields with field house, track and field, baseball and softball fields, and tennis courts.
Nabco installed a complete electrical system including Indoor Lighting, Sports Lighting, Lighting Controls, Power Distribution, Voice Data, Fire Alarm, Access Controls, Security/Camera System & Audio Visual. The HVAC installation system includes full 4 pipe chilled and heating water systems with 1500 tons of chiller capacity, roof mounted air handlers, and gas fired boilers.
RECENT PROJECTS
Robinson Center Renovation
The 139,000 sq ft Robinson Center Music Hall in Little Rock, Arkansas received a complete renovation and expansion. Nabco installed an electrical system that included restoration of existing light fixtures from Theater & Lobby, LED Lighting, Lighting Controls, an AV System, Power/Controls for Theatrical Lighting & Rigging, a Backup Generator, Fire Alarm, Voice & Data, AI Phone and Intercom Systems.
LRSD Central High School Energy Upgrades
The energy upgrade project at the historic Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas consisted of demolishing the old, inefficient equipment and replacing it with updated energy efficient components. The total duration for the project was less than 6 months. Strategic coordination with the owner, engineer, and subcontractors was key to Nabco’s success for this project.
CARTI Cancer Center
Nabco installed the HVAC, Plumbing and Medical Gas systems for the CARTI Cancer Center, a 175,000 SF state-of-the-art medical facility featuring exam rooms, radiation and chemotherapy facilities, and diagnostic imaging that provides cutting edge treatment for cancer patients and their families.
